Mountain Marathon at Pelindaba.
Pretty good race technically. Wasn't pushing the pace. Just kept it comfortable and tried to enjoy it.
I lost about 30 seconds on #2 and #5 walking / jogging the uphills. Lost a minute on #7 - mis-read the rocks before the control and drifted left. Also lost about 30 seconds on #9 - got a thorn in my shoe and had to take it off to get it out. Otherwise pretty smooth. Concentration was decent most of the way round and was moving at a decent speed over the rocky ground.
2:46 behind Michele. Happy with that although I think she is still recovering from being sick.

Nice route and I felt good. Good to have an enjoyable route so close to home.

Kinetic Nightrun - Parkview Golf course.
Started a bit fast and didn't feel like a suffer fest so just kept it moving. Calves were a bit sore - maybe the first km was a bit of a shock for them. Also lots of running on squishy grass.
