Mt Mac map, start at Raven's Ridge. Had a good run until control 8. And on that one didn't look at the bigger features. And completely didn't look at my compass on the way to leg 12 - only didn't get lost because of a bomber catching feature - but nevertheless took way longer than it should have.

Wed night orienteering meet at War Eagle. Went well, probably the cleanest run I have ever had on War Eagle. But took some longer route choices (usually easier), could have been faster with more confidence. And a couple of controls "lucked out" a bit by just going slowly on a compass bearing without really a back up plan of what to do if it didn't work out. (It didn't once and it ended up in only a 5 minute mistake but could have been much worse.

Knee felt fine.

Didn't feel as if I pushed it too much physically but that was probably faster on this map sheet.
