Multisport 2:00:00 [3]

Fun multisport event on the Ross River in Townsville which consisted of 30min each of 4 legs - MTB, tubing, obstacle course and kayaking. Goal was to do the most number of laps within the 30min before rotating through to the next leg. Lots of fun - although I wouldn't have missed the tubing part.

"Under the Radar" track at Pallarenda plus a few other tracks to get back to the car. Then drove back to Cairns.

Kayaking 20:00 [3]

In Townsville for the weekend. Tested out a couple of ocean skis on the Strand.

Orienteering 35:00 [3] 3.1 km (11:17 / km)

Orienteering at Mingela Range about an hour out of Townsville towards Charters Towers. Fairly decent contour detail on the map, but some nasty grass, grass seeds and rocky ground made it very tough going. Looked up to admire the view a few times and nearly went head over heels so ended up stopping a few times instead. Completely non-serious event, but managed to just hold off the Estonian boys!
