Woke up at 7.40 this morning without an alarm, so figured I'm starting to feel better! Run on the moor which was tough at the start but got easier. Great views, bit blustery!

Note

Had a nice lie in this morning then spent the whole morning with Mum making apple juice with home grown apples. It was fun! And tastes delicious. After that took a stroll with Dad around the Moor, who's up to an hour of walking on tricky ground and still doing remarkably well. Then wandered over to Jen's to deliver her some "sleepy juice: (Nyquil), because she's got a terrible cold. Felt a bit too delicate to run today but it was lovely to be outside plenty on a glorious autumn day.

On the train to York, then Margaret and Alan drove me back home, of which I was very appreciative. Worn out.

Breakfast with Lobban, lunch will Ellen, dinner with Mhairi in Glasgow. Wonderful. The train to Glasgow is over ten times faster than my commute home in Boston.

Very busy day visiting people across the Uni - even made it out to Roslin, which is a lovely campus.
