Note
I ran to work at 3.15 in the morning because I had a prep that had to be finished before lunchtime, and I wasn't sure I would get up in time once I finally got to sleep.
It's been there for a long time, but today was the first time I really noticed the "Never Give Up" sign in the window on the second floor.
I don't want to give up. But I think it's likely I will fight from home instead.
I met the Night Plumber at 3.25 this morning - turns out he has a little crew working on the plumber in our construction site. He was a lovely, considerate man who reflected my sadness. He slightly pulled my spirit off the floor. I finished my prep, ran home, and had stopped shaking enough to sleep by 4am.
Got 2 hours or so of sleep, then found out my parents' flight didn't leave Leeds Bradford, so have to make it till tomorrow before I get a hug. I'm very glad they'll be here soon.
