Started my run then bumped into a lovely but lonely old chap from down the street, who knew who I was from family resemblance and also an awful lot about me, but I had never met him. We talked for a long time about a lot of stuff, so I had to restart my run.

Note

Rest day that was actually a long walk with Cerys, who drove up from the Peaks. It was really great. A beautiful day, a frosting of snow, and excellent company. Unfortunately I brought two pairs of boots with me and neither have comfy enough arch support for this length of walk. Was worried I had really damaged my feet as they hurt so much, but they are fine the day after. Whew.

Submitted the paper on the third attempt (stupid journal system converting 9000 row csv files into a 2500 page PDF :D) and then caught up with today’s workout. Was happy to do 75 sit ups a lot more easily than the last time I tried.

I wanted to run everyday but today I was worn out. We did go for two decent walks, one to St. Ives with my folks and one to the Moor with Rob's folks. Little man is struggling with molars I think and has not been his usual sunny self today. Its so nice to have extra hands now on days like this!
