Worked from home all week aside from a trip with Pia to the Beckman Coulter "Vision Center" on Thursday and a very long day in the office on Wednesday. Had to tackle some really annoying work (combining gene lists, all with different IDs) that needed focus time, impossible to do in the office. Finished that on Friday afternoon despite spending most of Friday morning at the vet with Pooface, who was vomiting lots and lots (usually Rosie is the vomiter), and after ~$650 of scans and tests the diagnosis of "gippy tummy" was given. She seems to be fine now. I cleaned up a lot of sick on Thursday.
Came down with a cold on Friday so had a low key day Saturday while the soggy snow fell. We have a lot of annoying admin to do for green card which I almost managed to finished up. Last night was that night of a cold where you can't really lie down because everything fills with snot, but we decided to get some fresh air anyway this morning and headed out to Rocky Woods for a walk. The snow was much crisper out there and the walk was lovely. The hut was open so we joined the Trustees as we've visited quite a few of their properties over the last few months and they've all been great - nice places with well maintained extensive trail systems. Better than the MA state parks in general!
