Very very short very very tired jaunt around a bit of Inshriach on one of the Lagganlia courses. It was a bit abortive because there was a man doing a scary amount of logging around numbers 1-4. I was exhausted so that was probably for the best.
Actually slept for about 90 minutes on the plane having had the most pleasant overnight flight yet, and made it through yesterday till 7pm without napping. Even managed a very short run and lots of strolling with CJ. Now however I am wide awake at 4 because I can't stop going through today's plans in my head. Fancy a run but forgot to ask CJ how I would get back into her house after such a thing happening! So soon I can lug my bag across London to left luggage at King's Cross, go sit in the embassy for an undetermined amount of time, then fill what's left of the day with Natalie before the train to Edinburgh! Yey! Then lagganlia tomorrow with the Ed Meister!
Note
I am in Scotland! And Kirsten just brought my attention to BBC radio Scotland who are doing an 'orienteering anthems' phone in! Amazing!

Quick very tired jaunt from CJ's to try to wake me up. It kind of worked for another hour or so. Lovely day with tasty food and lots of strolling round parks.

Final run around West Rock with Rob before leaving. We took it easy and it was muggy. Was so stiff at the start from all the standing and pipetting, felt much better by the end.
Aim for Scotland: Have fun every day and don't look at the results. They don't actually matter at all.
Three ten hour days at work...can't face starting the next one yet. All on my feet except for lunch. Feet are throbbing now and I didn't sleep well last night. This is turning into one epic final week at work :(

On the idea that something is better than nothing, I did something. I'm going to be fine as long as all controls are 50 seconds apart interspersed with 90 second timed road crossings.
Everything is out of balance, time is just running away with me constantly. Hoping the trip home will force me to sort things out. Elite is going to be quite a stretch!
It is 32 degrees C in the lab right now and I feel like my entire week's training is already unlikely to happen! Eurgh! The AC has now been broken since Thursday.

After spending almost two hours trying to give T Mobile lots of money over the next few years (with eventual success) so that I can use my phone in the UK, at least it had cooled down enough to go for a jog.
Shattered! Spent all day in NYC in the heat yesterday, did some shopping, friend seeing, and music festivalling. Lots of walking and still have sore feet today, but great day. Hottest day yet outside today so not going to push it, back on the wagon tomorrow.
"Easy" into work. Today was one of those days where the sun cream slides off your face in a melted pool instantly. Let's hope a big storm comes to clear things up a bit!

Almost wimped out of this session. Cray humid all day, and set off walking back to Science Hill after work and noticed there was a bit of a breeze. Tomorrow is due to be hotter and wetter, so I decided to go for it, and it felt great. 9 sets of 50(90). In the bag.
Glad I found an open chemist yesterday - today things have swelled up and it's pretty sore. It's probably from the digging the doc had to doc to get out the fragment, but if it is worse tomorrow I have to go back. Don't think running will be happening today.
How do I find/ is it possible to find an open pharmacy now? I got a piece of wood lodged in my leg during the run today and the doc says I need antibiotics!

Apollon - 25 sprawls, 400m, 50 squats, 400m x 3. Ran easy, felt much better than I have done recently despite having just walked home in the heat and feeling a bit stiff.
