And for Euan’s birthday daycare got us...a daycare cold! Everyone is miserable. We had to get Euan covid tested as he also had a rash that needed looking at, but we are pretty much sure it’s not covid. Just a run of the mill snot fest. Ugh.
My manuscript got great reviews AND an Editorial rejection (that's now twice that has happened during COVID) and I am so bummed. I've have been working on the reformat and generally not been able to push myself to get out of the house or relax till it is done. It is almost ready to send out again. If this happens again I'm going to be really angry.
BUT - we got our Green Cards last week! The day before Justice RBG passed. I have no words for the weight of her loss.
Euan is one on Sunday. This has been by far the weirdest, most stressful, most wonderful year of my life. I just wish I knew when I could hug my Mum again.

It is glorious out today - a cool breeze and a clear sky. Ran masked up in the graveyard and I definitely run slower with it on. But still a joy to be out.

Ran during the nap and he woke up straight after. It's been a weekend of short naps and regretting running as the house is a disaster zone mess. Please let this other tooth pop through soon!

Down to Adams Street. A lovely little street that claims a hill off one of the gross main roads out of time. A real oasis of peace that I wasn't expecting. It will be fun when I can run for longer at the weekends and can wander around side streets rather than having to run down the main arteries. People are driving so much worse than they used to, and they were not good. Three times I stood still waving at the driver waiting to cross a road or the way out of a car park because the person was just staring at their phone whilst inching out in the the main road. One guy in a pick up gave me the figure after I gave him an exasperated look.
There have been some nice things about living in a bubble for 6 months, that's for sure.
