Advanced course at the Blue Hills. Caught Kristen after she had to move number two further down the depression, and had a fun relay style race the whole rest of the way. Gained a reasonable lead at 11 only to totally blow number 13 - really fun to be thinking like that again! The woods were lovely with the sprinkling of snow, and the hills didn't feel as bad as I was worried they might.
Only yoga today, had to come home from work almost as soon as I arrived to let the boiler engineer in. Heating now fixed, and I was not going out again once I got home :)

I did a proper shuffle run this morning with HR below 145 to try to shake the headache, then figured I'd jump on the bus when it caught me. But it never caught me as I was running past stationary traffic pretty much the whole way. Joy!

Rob wanted to go orienteering and wasn't totally up for it...picked up the green map and took one look at the cross slope leg and decided to do the brown instead and enjoy it. Woods were pretty tough and I was tired but I caught Rob and we decided to run together. It was fun.
Have felt wiped out again for the rest of the week - really surprised after genuinely feeling good going into work on Tuesday. I think maybe I was more stressed about the midterms than I thought I was (and I thought I was quite stressed!) and now the relief is just letting my body realise it's tired. Today we wandered around downtown and went to a couple of rooms at the MFA. It's nice to be members and just do a couple of rooms at a time. Plenty of steps and a hoard of Pokemon go players on the way home - I had no idea people were still doing that in such numbers!
Was in Maine all weekend with friends. Very wet hike on Saturday followed by the power going out in the wind (and the water was well water). Interesting weekend!
Absolutely delicious croissant early the next morning at Moonbat City baking company in Belfast - the second best croissant I have eaten in the USA and really quite excellent. The best are still from the Rolling Pin Bakeshop in Denver.
