Leg day. Wow this takes a long time! Something has clicked with my deadlifts and I got to 150# much easier than I was expecting today. It's an up and down deadlift, up this much is easy but down is much harder. Happy with that!

Yey! I got up and did my long run from Rob's place.

Boo, replacing the battery obviously did not fix my HR monitor! It was an easy run, not a 210 max kind of run.

Next time I'll make it to Fresh Pond. The houses by Mount Auburn hospital are beautiful!

After an extremely long lab day yesterday I worked a seven hour day today and made it out for the gym and a run in the late afternoon. My new upper body routine is really really hard.

6 x 4 mins at tempo. Not super fast thanks to snow banks and major major DOMs in my quads, but my word it was so nice to get out and run in the sunset.

This week I have been mostly waking up in the middle of the night with cold sweats. They are decreasing in number from their peak on Sunday night, soI am taking it easy this week. Just been walking to work, where I have long days this week and for the next two.

Think I have reached my writing limit this week! Was hoping to reinvigorate in the gym again today but no such luck - severely lacking in focus. But I've broken the back of this paper now and would never have managed had I been in the lab, so it's been worth it. Upper body recovery session. I can now do 3 negatives in a row with the non aided close grip strict pull up - didn't push to my limit but this is pretty cool.

A late start to recovery week. Lower body, some improvisation in the gym. Had it all to myself, it was very pleasant.
