EPIC! Today I went to explore the next State Park, and the snow there was knee deep fine powder. The first thirty mins there were some slightly less deep snowshoe tracks, but the next fourty minutes was pure, virgin snow. It was seriously hard to move, and I managed to walk/jog up and down some serious hills. Glorious weather, warm on the top half, but by the time I finally popped out in the access road which some people had driven in pick ups, my legs were frozen. They warmed up super quickly as the two miles back to the car went a lot faster!

I really should a) buy some skiis, b) learn to move on them.

Yup, this was just over my knees.
