Rob and I did a slightly unintentional State Park tour today. First we took in Above All, which was as bizarre as it sounded on the internet - a derelict radar station from the Cold War, now mostly used for lighting fires and taking drugs by the local kids.
Then we went to Mohawk Mountain, where we drove to the top, but there wasn't really a nice circuit to walk round. So we almost gave up but tried Sunny Brook on the way home, and did a nice circuit round the woods there. There was a great frozen lake with the sun setting behind it, but my photos don't do it anything like justice.
