Snow! Time to go running!

Strength 15:00 [1]

Some serious car pushing and snow shovelling. Not our car, I hasten to add, we weren't silly enough to go anywhere. But we passed many people who were on our way to sledging. Sledging was awesome but the little bounces made my brain hurt, so I had to stop.

East Rock Winter Round. There was a good four inches of snow on the ground when I woke this morning and it was still coming down so I set out for a long run. It was awesome! The first five mins on the road were unpleasant, very windy and not able to see much, but once I hit the woods it was fab. All my hair froze up, and I pulled out about 7 of my eyelashes when I de-clumped them after half an hour. After that I decided to look like Old Father Time for the rest of the run. Did the three highest bits of East Rock (I think, at least as high as you can get without fence climbing) and was just beaming the whole way. Starting to tire on the last one, but then heading downhill and home. Still snowing heavily, and my tracks from the way out were almost gone on the return. Yey, winter at last!

I am so happy to be in one piece and fit enough to do this. Yey!
