We had a lot of chores to do today and so we'd booked a Zipcar for the full 24 hours. Luckily we finished them super quickly which left me with loads of time to drive to West Rock and explore some new trails. Not quite sure why they built a road no one uses all along the top of the ridge - popped on and off this as the blue was dead rocky and slow, and kept getting fed up of crawling on it and worried I was going to break my ankle with absolutely no one around. Felt more confident when I hit familiar ground on the other side of the rock, and plain sailing from there. It was just over an hour before I saw a person out, which was pretty crazy for a gorgeous Sunday afternoon.

Edit: could follow these trails for way longer and do a proper long run. Need to take water and give this a try!
