1 mile test on the track again. My HR is far more responsive to the heat outside than my fitness, and today was a bit humid, but way cooler. Thus I had to run pretty fast to get my HR anywhere near the required 185, and did the mile in 6.45 (the last two were 7.35, 7.33). It's a pretty powerful demonstration of how difficult it is to train hard in this stuff, and hopefully means that when we hit autumn, I'll be flying!
Don't think it says anything about my improving fitness though. I know that's happening so it's not that important.
