Jog about before the SHI. Not feeling particularly sprightly, I have to say. HR also high.

Hmm.. I was navigating pretty well for the majority of this course, until I caught people at the end and started to relax too much. Big error at number 17 cost me nearly 3 mins on Rach's split. But the rest of the course was steady - I can barely run these days, but at least that meant I was navigating well. Shame to let Fi sneak in front but I did what I needed to do for England - 5th place and we won W21 convincingly. I am however very concerned about my ridiculously high pulse - I have had blocked sinuses and felt like I'm fighting a cold for the last two weeks, and that clearly shows something as being not quite right! I blame it on final year PhDitis.
