Note

Vienna Orienteering Challenge was so much fun!

I wished I could have been more competitive but this time it was more important to me to make this event unforgettable...and it was worth it! :)

We got a lot of positive feedback, the weather was sunny and hot, the areas extremely challenging, and the participants happy. Thank you for coming to Austria's most fun orienteering event! :)

Late night and early morning again.
Felt completely ill of tiredness before the start. Anyway I didn't want to miss out this incredible race so I started anyway. I couldn't push 100% and I didn't force my body either.

A lot of work to do so fell asleep at 3. Waking up early didn't make the situation better. Was extremely tired before the start but anyway I managed to do a quite good race considering my lack of sleep.

Had a good start, then struggled a lot to control #4. Lost about 2 min! :-D Sprints can be hard sometimes...;-)
Wasn't focused enough after that but had a lot of fun anyway. Very cool sprint :-D

Tried to swim as fast as possible but my technique must be very very bad! feeling super exhausted but my max heartrate was just117 !! Haha at least I overtook some swimmers !

easy run with heavy legs. several stops in the vineyard to taste the different grapes along the way! :-D the red ones were the best! :-)

Back to it.
Felt very bad, especially my running technique didn’t feel smooth. It seems like my legs believe they are still in Scandinavia (High knees running) :D anyway I was faster than planned so maybe there is some improvement. Will be be nice to see how fast I can run when my running technique is back to normal on the hard surface!
