Was a little bit out on my bearing to #4 but saw it to my left so didn't lose much time really. Took a bit of a dodgy route to #8 through neck-high bracken but it didn't make too much of a difference. Thought #9 was the spectator control so when it didn't look like I expected it to it through me and then I realised and went in to the circle and found it to my left. Got the rest fine so it was an alright run and I kept running for most of the course. Did 800m more than the given length so probably could have been a bit quicker if I took straighter routes but not sure.

Not the best preparation ... Very tired from sleeping on village hall floor and smacked my head very very hard on the shelf of the coach just before I went to the start so had a headache for the rest of the day. 1-6 were good but for #7 I was in the circle but by a thicket south of the control so lost a bit of time working that out. #11 was very cautious but I ended up in the right place and then saw it off to my left. Got distracted to #12 so forgot where I was on the map so kept going down the path I thought I could be on and worked it out. Hated the hill to #17 ... Legs just died completely. The climb up to #19 just wasn't a pleasant experience ... Was trying to work out if I was going to be sick or if my legs were going to just give up. Was too far south of #19 but saw it. Got quite confused to #20 but knew I was in the circle so kept going and got it. Quite pleased overall and definitely know I need to do something about the hills.
