Orienteering race (Traverse ) 4:20:18 [4] 13.5 km (19:17 / km)

I already got my splits so check those out if you want to see how I preformed on each leg. A challenging race to say the least but I finished. The first point, I was semi following the crowd and was misplaced. After this I went entirely on my own rarely seeing others such as charlie, Jesson, and Colin. The first half was rough for some reason, maybe I will still getting into orienteering on this level. Second half was much easier and had no mix up. I for sure went farther than 13.5 km I just dont know the actual distance. Quite a bit of climb as well. My strategy was use as many trails as possible, however there were points were trails were not an option and in those cases I just dead reckoned with surprising accuracy. Once again it was a slow race for me but I finished which placed me above some teammates.

Two gates run, finished towards the front right behind Gino and in front of Dan. These runs are challenging but very good physically. Afterward we did some abs, which is good because I need to max those for my APFT. Hills are a killer but i'm improving on them.

We ran three mile repeats. All negative splits. 6.06, then 5.55, then a 5.52. Afterwards we did a few minutes of abs and stretches. Last two splits I had a bit of a cramp, not too bad but still noticeable. I attributed it to a dessert I had half an hour previous.

Orienteering (Bike, Abs, IOCT) 1:00:00 [3]

Did 12.2 miles on the bike in little over 40 minutes with over 350 calories burned. Got up to level 12. Then did about 15 minutes of abs and pushups led by Will. Finished with a personal IOCT and some high bar practice. I need to get that B in mil move (pretty aggressive goal).

Dark O course with 9 points. I did it with David Sayles and we did pretty well. I'm getting better at night nav as well I feel. Fun course. 10/10 would Orientate again.
