Lifting (The usual lift ) 45:00 [3]

150 push ups
10 different ab exercises- repetitions vary depending on the ab exercise. Exercises consist of Russian Twist, leg lifts, sit ups etc.
5 sets of 14 reps of bicep curls with 30 pounds each arm.
40 pull ups
Anything else I feel I need to work on that day (Squats, Lunges, curl ups)

Biking (Mission trail bike ) 2:30:00 [4] 19.0 mi (7:54 / mi)

I took a two day vacation to San Antonio with my parents and today we decided to bike the mission trail. This is a 19 miles (at least) trail stretching five missions. It starts at the Alamo and goes past San Antonio into the country. Very cool experience and saw a lot of history! The biking was made somewhat difficult by rented city bikes and dirt paths. Good exercise however, as I have been slacking on cardio.

First run with my Christmas present a garmin forerunner 10. I really like it. Although it was slow (I was running on undeveloped trails) It felt good to get out. I know i'm slacking on the running but I think i'm staying in shape through lifting and walking a lot. Run was also very hot (85 degrees) so I felt like that sucked a lot of energy out. I've been used to the cold of west point. Planning on getting in a couple more runs before I go back.

Individual Training (Run then Arvin ) 55:00 [3]

Did a run from Ike Barracks to Lee gate then to Arvin in 2238 then hit the weights. Did pull ups, push ups, abs, arms, jumprope and some dips. After I did the bike for five miles, starting at level 15, going down to 10 then back up to 15. I'm pretty sure they play the news in Arvin just so we get more angry and bike harder.

Amazing run - probably one of the top 3 best runs of my life. Not so much how fast I was running but just how it made me feel. Its a beautiful day! Amazing Day! Barely any clouds, clear sky, comfortable 45 degrees, and the Hudson looked perfect today. Ran for 28:30 from Thayer statue to gate, flirty walk, then took a break and stretched at the amphitheater. Amazing A1++ view overlooking the bend in the river, stormking, and breakneck ridge. Nature is hella neat. Finished it up with a run around the soccer field back to Ike. Definitely that high on life kind of run everyone should enjoy. Makes you love this place. After the run I hit abs, pushups, and pull ups for 25 minutes.

IOCT, ropes and trampoline. Didn't improve my IOCT time but I did make up those two points I was missing so I got a B- in the class. Back in my room for the night I did about 100 push ups and 50 situps with some pull ups in there as well.

Mil move class. Did some trampoline and ropes, long horse vault and the like.
Got my best IOCT time of 2:42, four seconds from tabbing and got a B+ on it. As of now I am 2 points from a B- in the class, one more lesson left.

Orienteering race (Army-Navy-Coast GuardMeet) 45:41 [5] 4.8 km (9:31 / km) +135m 8:21 / km

Good race against Navy and Coast Guard. I am really starting to see my land navigation skills come into play. This is my first meet I have broken 10/Km and think I can confidently move into the green level course. I have seen myself improve since my first days with the team including increased confidence. Ways to improve, since I still need to beat David and Gino would be to know where I am going to go before I get to the previous control. This way I'm not spending 20 seconds at each control figuring out my next route. This could have easily shaved off 2 minutes and got me closer to second or first. Running at a faster pace combined with quicker decision making could have pulled me over the edge. Felt solid.

Christmas dinner stair workout.
6X of the full flight of stairs in Washington Hall, afterward 30 reps of abs and pushups

Basically it was a smoker but helped me burn off all of the calories I consumed at Christmas dinner.
Last workout of the semester :(
Hopefully someone is trying to work out next week, then all lifting Tee week, spring break is coming up.
