I think the distance was 3.5 miles someone said. My time was 31:04. Poor weather but a fun day. Felt good just couldn't get my footing right due to the wetness. We went through an ab workout afterward with Will leading us.

Don't know the exact time but I know it was decently fast. I finished towards the front with Andy. As always the run up the hill really sucks but the run down is nice and clears your mind. Got in good conversation with my boy Andy and just ran through the dark. Good to stretch out the legs.

Individual Training (Weight Lifting ) 1:00:00 [3]

Lifted weights for the first time since I left for New York in June. Did bench press, biceps, abs, chest and back. Feeling it today for sure in my biceps and back. When I go back for Christmas break i'm doing biceps every day because I need to get that beach bod back.

Couldn't tell you the distance but I estimate about 8.5 miles. It was throughout my neighborhood mostly on sidewalks. It was very flat, like very very flat, like decline West Point flat. Good run, I wasn't going super hard just clearing my mind and clearing my calorie count. Thought a lot about life and my goals. Felt nice but running with speed cross on concrete kind of kills my legs. I think it would help for Army Navy to say the soldiers creed as I run.

Did the long horse vault, the first trampoline, and the IOCT in a new 2:55 record. Slowly improving the IOCT, may tab it.

Orienteering (Sprint course ) 40:00 [3]

Course took me 27:06 for the run. It was slow, I need to run harder and not get caught up. I won't make excuses about the color of the map but it was hard for me to read- probably because I need to work on reading maps while running. I was stopping to check for the next point, probably killed about two minutes. Did some abs afterward. I will try to get in some millage this week and some lifting.

• 6 ab exercises of choice (30 count)
For abs I choose, Planks, Six inches, penguins, bicycles, flutter kicks and another thing I cant recall.

Good overall workout for a rest day.

I already got my splits so check those out if you want to see how I preformed on each leg. A challenging race to say the least but I finished. The first point, I was semi following the crowd and was misplaced. After this I went entirely on my own rarely seeing others such as charlie, Jesson, and Colin. The first half was rough for some reason, maybe I will still getting into orienteering on this level. Second half was much easier and had no mix up. I for sure went farther than 13.5 km I just dont know the actual distance. Quite a bit of climb as well. My strategy was use as many trails as possible, however there were points were trails were not an option and in those cases I just dead reckoned with surprising accuracy. Once again it was a slow race for me but I finished which placed me above some teammates.

Two gates run, finished towards the front right behind Gino and in front of Dan. These runs are challenging but very good physically. Afterward we did some abs, which is good because I need to max those for my APFT. Hills are a killer but i'm improving on them.

We ran three mile repeats. All negative splits. 6.06, then 5.55, then a 5.52. Afterwards we did a few minutes of abs and stretches. Last two splits I had a bit of a cramp, not too bad but still noticeable. I attributed it to a dessert I had half an hour previous.

Orienteering (Bike, Abs, IOCT) 1:00:00 [3]

Did 12.2 miles on the bike in little over 40 minutes with over 350 calories burned. Got up to level 12. Then did about 15 minutes of abs and pushups led by Will. Finished with a personal IOCT and some high bar practice. I need to get that B in mil move (pretty aggressive goal).

Dark O course with 9 points. I did it with David Sayles and we did pretty well. I'm getting better at night nav as well I feel. Fun course. 10/10 would Orientate again.

It was my own workout. I stay with Will for a little and then focused on some stuff I wanted to focus on. Probably did 30 mins of bike, I did a decent amount of dips, pull ups, bicep workouts, kettlebell stuff, squats, lunges, and crunches. Good workout, haven't done arms in a while.

one fast 1000 meter then a slower 1000 meter repeats times four. I tried to stay towards the front with christian, ed and those guys. I stayed about 20 meters behind Gino and Ed on the sprint but caught up during the slower run. Solomon's probably aren't the best shoe to do sprints in.

Good APFT- 12 points better than my last but it could have been better

68 sit ups

As you can see I maxed it all except for situps. If I did 10 more situps and maxed it I would be at a 314. I need some core workouts.

Orienteering (Intervals/Run/Pushups) 50:00 [3]

We started with a run from Ike Statue down to the track then back up through flirty walk. Then we did (10?) 100 yard intervals. I was hitting about average 15 seconds each one but I wasn't killing myself, I might have been able to hit 13. Finished off my day with 200 pushups for that PMI. Also I did my Mil Move class and ran the IOCT with a new recond of 3:06. Not super fast but i'm improving. If I master the H bars I could probably finish with a 230.

MP time trail. I improved 37 seconds from last time but still feel like I need to improve more. I really want to be under 10 before semester gets out so i'll probably do some running up it on my own. I think its mostly mental because i've run up higher hills. What kills me is that last .25 mile stretch with all the rocks, I need to get my mind right. Overall though good run and I like the improvement i'm seeing.

Run up to MP trail then back down after. Did 40 pushups and 80 crunches with some other abs and chest included in that. I need to get ready for this November 7th APFT boiiii.
