Blackhill challenge. I knew I was going to be slower than last year which was fine but I didn’t know just how bad my legs would feel at the summit. Usually I can do the last 4km downhill with speed but I felt wrecked.
Pros- I ran the whole thing this year, even the bessablock ridge. I have never acieved that before. When I got to the top I was so amazed with myself that I put my hands in the air and the two runners behind me cheered.
So 6th this year but that’s all good considering I havnt run over 10km since May.
