orienteering 43:00 [3]

Walked around course 3 at the Bendigo event. Only think I did that was silly was go to high to number 3. Had fun out there and feeling a lot better and more flexible. I jogged along the ridge line in some places but stopped when my belly button wound began to itch or was sore.

I still have some pain below my belly button where I think I was cut during the surgery. Hopefully its not an infection or something.

orienteering 2:40:00 [3]

Junior arrows/Victorian training camp.
Muskvale

First exercise was an attackpoint exercise. I walked out to control 2 on the moderate course and helped the juniors identify the feature from the attackpoint on the map.
Then I followed them around in places making sure they were ok.
After was the micro-o exercise that I walked around the first half of.

Afternooon was at St Georges Lake.
Direction exercise.
I stuffed up by giving out the wrong maps to start with and then I realised and confused everyone by asking the seniors and juniors to swap. Did the compass exercise to start off with and then walked the no compass back making sure the Juniors were finding the first control okay. I managed to stuff that one up by not having an appropriate attackpoint and getting distracted by bottomless mines.
