orienteering 23:30 [3]

Sprint finals at QUT Kelvin grove. Head explosion race!
I feared for my life in 2 places. Running down the scaffolding when Matt Parton was running up it. It wobbled lots and then at the "dark control" where the swedish guy and I was tip toeing around to not fall over.

Anyway i made fewer mistakes then others but I do think the sprint camp and the sprint training i have been doing is helping.

sprint race 1 at roma street. Got caught out in with the out of bounds area and missing the stairs. Felt long

Sprint number 2 roma street parklands.
Still felt flat and made little mistakes here and there. Suz and I ended up coming 6th which was alright. I think the lack of sleep the night before didnt help.

orienteering in the afternoon. qualification for the finals. I knew this would be a bit hit and miss for me to qualify so i felt very relieved to make it.

Stuffed up maybe 1min 30 of this race. was pretty scrappy especially around 5 and 15.

Still feeling good. Run around Belair and then along the single track back home.

Warm up around flinders with mel. We found penguins :)

Felt really good today , ran around with mel while she had the map. Gave her some tips but I think I totally freaked her out haha. Bah she will be fine for this weekend.

Mel is back so went running with her as Tyson and Simon had to get to the OSA meeting. We did 4x 1min hill reps. Was a good run
