Was told to just do a short long run today by coach Wendy and I am pretty happy how I went. Not so sore and tired this morning but back was a bit funny and my itb was hurting a bit on the way back. I blame my shoes and the orthotics I didn't wear. My itb hurts when my foot rolls in.
Anyway I pushed the Carey gully hill which I'm happy about and then ran back while the others kept going.

Painted this today now I have Sundays off from work. This is kitchen hut from my cradle mtn walk.

easy run at summer orienteering tonight. I am still heaps tired, i felt horrible from the first step. I really considered at the first control to go back but I did the whole scatter course.

Run with Simon in Belair with 5x 1min intervals to get my leg goings. Simon said his leg felt a bit sore from the bruising

tried out the mindfulness app today and then did stretches and pilates for my back and bum which are pretty tight.

orienteering 59:00 [3]

terrible start to the camp champs.
Felt rushed and stressed at the start as we arrived late there was trouble finding the start triangle. Was first starter and totally stuffed up the beginning of my race. Only got into it at the end when i started to feel better and flow through the course better.

wasted a lot of time but i guess being stressed at the start is just another scenario that i have to learn to deal with.

Very tired this morning. Being in tassie and doing stuff has finally caught up with me. Did some control flow in the short controls.

orienteering 28:40 [3]

Mass start one man relay at Golden Fleece. Hung behind the pack and watch them run around the control circle and most of the time just ran in and punched it and ran away. Hehehe


I got this out of my leg.
