the long day, which was pretty nmuch the same as my middle day except more climb. i navigated beautifully for every control but number 7!!!!!!!!!! grrrr 14mins on that control. for that i didnt do very well today. but for some reason with my ok run yesterday i came 2nd overall for the two days. i was 10mins down on the winner today.
also the first map is day 1 and the 2nd is day 2. and the 2nd photo is of what i won, in italy you win cool things at events

middle race for W21. it was pretty scrappy and i made alot of mistakes in the control circles. the area was nice but apparantly nothing like jwoc. i ended up coming 2nd somehow even with 8mins mistake. i was 2mins down on the winner.
i thought it would be faster to ride the 6km and back to dorf-tirol. to the edge of the forest that had really good area to do hill runs... NOPE. far too steep for my 1 speed pushbike.

hill sprints through terrain. the ground was nice and leafy and soft. there was also a fitness track there and some man in green overalls with a chainsaw ( i think he was there to cut the hedges)
ok so i rode my bike to the chairlift. took the chair lift to the edge of dorf-tirol , ran to dorf-tirol and then took the cable car up to 1300m then contoured around the mountains and ran back down the mountain and back into town and down the chairlift. i got pretty lost on all of the tracks and had to stop alot. but it was very very pretty and my knee is a little tender now from running down alot. this was my down hill running training, i think i only climbed about 300m in total
OK so maybe i freaked out yesterday just a little. my legs seem to have recovered ok. they are still pretty tired though. but yes hills on soft ground is a good idea.
