orienteering race 1:17:00 [4] 8.0 km (9:38 / km)

OY 1 for the year. felt good and great and spiked pretty much everything. i worked on destroying nature today and control flow. it all worked really well despite one little problem..... no. 4 was in the completly wrong spot and what makes me even more mad is that the controller denied that it was placed wrong because she based her justification on a placement of a stump!!!!!!!!!!!!! arghgggerwhlkjwdhfjkeawfhpqwhp; anger. clare and i even went back to figure it out and yes its in the wrong spot and we based our justification on the giant watercourse junction we found that aligned with the control.

first half an hour was shit! my butt muscles were very weak and couldnt get up the stairs and hills. after that i kept up with the rest and found that the hills werent that bad. the last hour was awesome and the run from the summit back down the falls was great, i reckon we got down in 3 mins. totally fanged it

also may i note that this was a total bleugh week of training. im cutting down my work hours

also we used a bungee cord tonight which was a first. I dragged katelyn on the first one and rachel dragged me on the second. no one wanted to do anything on the third.

awesome training at clives. i have never felt so good on a course at mt cootha. actually i have been feeling really good running at mt cootha for the past 3 weeks. strange

the warm up was map memory as well and putting out controls for the actual course



this included hills at the end

gah! my friend has decided to join the gym but didnt want to go all by her self for the first time, so i had to go with her this morning even though im horribly tired.

i found a way to promote the silva national o league today: stand at the front of the class with the silva nol shirt on then everyone has to read it. two people asked me what it after the class was finished. silva should be paying me for this :P
