The Blackwood gym had power. The Blackwood gym was the only place in Blackwood with power. Apparently we will get power back tomorrow. I presumed that we would be without power for a while when I woke up to a green flash and bang from the powerlines at 3am.

I went orienteering with Stefano in Belair and a few others as well as an NT boy who is here on holidays. My calf is still sore from the camp so I stopped the corridor orienteering.

Two lots of orienteering courses for the end of the training camp. We did a three person relay in which one person had to be back at each time. I did the two long courses. I was sloppy and not very fast but I expected that after being tired from training all week.

I hurt my calf at the end of the second loop. It hurts to walk on but in different shoes it's ok.

Party hat relay. Lanita and I some how missed pairs and were left out, so we made a team. Turns out we are a gun team and the other people chose wrong! Haha. Just kidding.

I'm not really gonna count this as orienteering as I really only wanted to go for a run by myself. We went to the mt lees map for afternoon tea and I went out on the long course. I enjoyed running through the paddocks but I didn't find many controls

Jogging around the course with Jess Rogers and charlotte. They would plan routes and then run them. They were quite good :) I was impressed

Jog around the no noth map. The map was a circle. It was a jog. I then went back out to help Sarah find a control.

Orienteering afternoon training at just south of where we were. Shadowed sarah and did compass, control picking, half corridor and half line.

I found my attackpoints outside the control circle a bit better in this session

I went out with Charlotte and did the sharing of the navigating. She did well but I realised that I pick features out and assume they are something they are not, this may have something to do with estimating the distance wrong
