Had some strength for the first 8ish controls but wasn't feeling so good. I have a cold at the moment . Jogged the rest of the course. Still felt very tired at the end.

At mount beckworth. I did a very good job of not running properly during the first 10 controls. After that I started to run a bit harder. Actually felt better at the end but the start was very poor.

Warm up and down. Flew to Melbourne this morning and Shaun Micallef was in the seat behind us. We then got Aislinns car and drove to castlemaine. My back has been real stuff today and I have been feeling off and tired. I needed to do a long warm up today

Bush sprint at some where near castlemaine. Was pretty scrappy but happy with my running speed. Followed jacqui not into the last control and had to run back. Whoops . Stuffed on 6 due to bearing and too low on 1. Much to improve on.

So I really only ran for 13 mins and then walked the rest. My back is much better and I am moving quite well. I should be back to normal running in a day or two.
