I am still sick with a lot of phlegm but I feel physically fine. Walked very quickly. Walking is good for your thighs I reckon. You can feel and see your muscles work

So as stated on Facebook I have committed to strength training for the next two weeks while the commonwealth games are on. For every Aussie gold I will do 20 sit ups, silver 5 sit-ups, and bronze 2 sit-ups.

Medal count for day 1: 5 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze. I have 129 sit ups to do.

Decided to run to training as I did not have a car and no money on my metro card.
I thought it would be 13km but! It was 17km with all my zig zagging around Concordia college. Anyway I then did an extra little loop with the guys on the loop. I arrived 20min late and was sore.

Ergh I am sick and shouldn't have done this. I went with Bun and had to turn around at the 6km mark. We did an extra km on the way back through kuipto, but when we got back I was very tired.

Had to work til 6pm so went running at 6:30pm. Ran with Meredith and had a good chat. We did 10x 200m with 200m float between. Meredith was amazed that our session was 8km worth including the warm up and down.

Race at worlds end. I was having a good run but then made a 3min mistake at 5 with a poor error. Then Belinda caught me and it was a full on race to the end. Good race

Race at tothill. Feeling bleh before the start but got into it around 7. Then I made a bad mistake at 8 where I undershot. It took me two controls to get back into it and then pushed the end. Was feeling fit and strong in the forest.

We did a relocation exercise at gravel pit where we took the kids into the middle of no where on the map, gave them a map and told them to find their way to a control. Oh the hilarity. We did two more exercises there and then we went to nuriootpa for a sprint relay exercise.

Lost Will this morning but then found will! Horray! Training at pewsey vale today. Did a sardines course where the kids had to hide at the control site, then a line course and then attackpoint training. Still cold but not much rain today. Tomorrow we are off to gravel pit!

Junior camp starts tomorrow, so stress levels are pretty high atm.

It will be a good camp and lots of cool activities planned :)

Longest run I have done and I really didn't feel that bad doing it. I mean my body died at the 19km mark but I held on for the last 3km. This was a pretty dam hilly run as well.

This was a sa trail run and not too many people showed up in the winters weather. I roughly knew where the trail went and bun didn't so we stuck togethor. Saw Lauren lead 5 runners off down the wrong track to woodhouse but we found them at lofty.

The tunnel under the railway at Bridgwater was flooded and kinda dicey to get through without being washed away but did a nice job of cleaning our shoes.

Bun and I got lost in the crafers bit which ended up being really hilly and long but we eventually found spring gully road and our way back.

Went running early for a bit to warm up my back because it was aching. Went around to the weir and back with the kiddies and Jenny. Found my car battery died when I tried to leave. Emily's dad pushed it while I dropped the Clutch. Worked and now I am home.
