oy1 at ngralta(i'm terrible are remembering the names and spelling of these adelaide maps)
Was ok but i stuffed up 4 controls and was just pretty messy. wasnt concentrating or was over reading details and making little errors on rocks. Oh well pushed it at the end because i wanted to get back under 80mins
probably 10mins worth of mistakes all up

running at morialta. felt blah again as usual on a tuesday arvo but i think running up the hill first made it better because i felt ok after that. still not great but ok.

running from fern. the longer, hillier way to get to brown hill creek track, i thought we were going all the way up the creek but was kinda relieved when we turn back at the caravan park. My legs were a bit achy but i felt ok about 25mins.

orienteering at belair. had fun but i was a bit wobbly on some of the bingo controls on pits and termite mounds. Oh and i ran straight past no. 8 because i thought i would be able to see it.

just a note:
Belair is the best place for orienteering out of the set of maps including only Belair and any map in Brisbane.

trail runners event. from mylor to bridgewater and back. alot of stopping and running back and missing the right turn offs so i think its a bit longer then this.
i was thinking about doing 20ish ks , i felt ok at the 12km turn around point but my left calf was hurting. i pulled something about 3km in running up a hill and i got progressivly worse as we went along. hurts a bit to walk now...maybe if i hint on here that it needs a massage, Simon will give me one ;)

it was much cooler this morning so i went riding. i decided to go up st bernards road to paradise interchange, follow the torrens towards the foot of the hills (6.5km up) and then follow some road back. i wasnt really sure where i was going but all i know is that if i followed the bus route i would get back to paradise interchange. I ended up on gorge road and back down st bernards. was nice.

sprint training set by simon at flinders uni. i did well on the first and last one. the ones in the middle were heaps off. especially the 2nd one where i ran to the wrong first control and then didnt know where i was in relation to my first control. whoops. I had fun though

felt so flat after uni that i couldnt even lift my legs. i got home 5mins before 6. next time im riding to uni, it takes 25mins instead of 60 mins by bus
I felt ok running wise about 30mins in.

oh and there was ridiculous climb i will never second troys ideas ever again

arrows training out at (im going to spell this wrong) nariyneri hills. i did 4.5 courses and then the line course. it was fun but i have to say my navigational skills are below par at the moment ( or the map was shit) either one i had trouble.

i went through belair park and saw an emu down the track i wanted to go down. i stopped and decided to play chicken with the emu... the emu one and scared me.

i then went up the european looking gully and then up to hawthornedene drive(steep!) and then back down the track.

i finally decided to get on my bike today after my work confuzzlement. so i road down port rush (ahh!!!) and then followed the torrens to the city. when i got as far as the park lands i turned around to ride home but then... i saw simon and lauren running. so i yelled at them, they told me to ride back to the city with them and then simon bought me lunch. win

i then rode home via magill

sprint... SPASTIC! worst sprint race ever. lets just say me and a whole bunch of other runners ended up on the wrong side of the creek when the course never crossed the creek... im surprised i didnt come dead last.

this is the total time i took. im fairly happy with this considering the epic fail of the event before. Blairidget did pretty well. :)

orienteering race. long hageby. I ran Ok surprisingly because i really psych myself out on mace start races. i really dont like them anyway i was navigating ok. not great but managed to find all the controls pretty well cept one where i followed suszanne cas to a control that wasnt even mine. Doh.

Oh well ended up 9th
