i have made this fitness program for mum and dad that lasts a month. Today all they had to do was a 20min walk. i took them out on both one at a time. dad didnt quite get to 20mins because the walk to the postbox and back was less then he thought.

ive decided to walk everywhere instead of driving (except to work because its ages away). it makes me feel better.
but you know what doesnt make me feel better, going to the doctors and getting blood tests. at least i didnt faint this time.

i woke up today at 4pm. how strange.

I got home today at 2:30am after a 6 hour flight on tuesday to dubai. 3 hours in dubai then left dubai at 3am got to singapore at 4pm, was there for an hour and then got to Brisbane at 2:30am thursday, slept 12 hours and its now 5:30pm. Im so confused.

Also im feeling a little bit lost, what am i to do for the rest of the year. And for a month i cant run ( but i think i will bail on that idea after a few weeks). I cant go back to uni because i differed. I guess i can work.. :(
maybe i will create some kickarse training regime that will start in august.

any help?

i am still in venice and on day two of my 'not doing any training for a month' -i fly out tomorrow.

i think i will take up yoga or something that doesnt cause too much stress and will keep me healthy.

much better run today. still feeling flat and completly exhausted at the end of the race trying to beat the austrian girl in the finish chute. Ran so hard that i a panic attack stress thingy and couldnt breath at the end so they rushed me off the the first aid tent. but im fine, just a bit sick and tired from things in general.
nice to finish a pretty bad orienteering week on a high.

middle qual.

pretty much worst day ever. I felt fine mentally , physically i felt tired. i didnt even feel like warming up alot because i wanted to conserve energy for the race. thats how i felt.
Ever since that stupid week in and out of hospital 3 weeks ago ive been getting progressivly tired and that has shown this week. In all three races i have analysed that even if i didnt do any of my mistakes i wouldnt have even made it anywhere near the top 20.
Definatley wouldnt have qualified yesterday even with my mistake at 7. so flat and not happy. felt fit a month ago while still in italy then boom illness to the max

ahhhhhhh!!!
Today was epic. first of all i started during a thunder storm. As soon as i took my control descriptions there was this massive streak across the sky and then BOOOM! scared me and the start people no end.
The worst control i have ever seen, basically no attackpoint. no. 4 the one everyone stuffed up. It was a downward hill leg. you had the option to count the creeks as you went ( but because of the rain there were 10 more then suppose to be). you could count the spurs but they were really hard to identify, or you could run down to a track....but because of the trracking and mud the track was so incredibly hard to find. In the end i found a track somehow didnt know if it was right and then stuffed up into control circle. WAH..... i got back and was like..well that was fun.. wtf just happened.
OH well i had fun

OMG shoot me now. hahaha what a f*** up. Messed up 12 sooooo badly that im pretty sure the guys that found me laughed when i yelled :" OH SHIT"

Oh well. Long tomorrow. im not too down from this awful awful result.

Event: JWOC 2009
 

orienteering 30:00 [0]

walked around the model map. found the charcoal burning ground which looks nothing like the charcoal burning grounds in sweden.

run 5:00 [3]

early run in the morning to wake up the legs. 5 mins is all you need to make your legs feel better for the rest of the day.
I also ran around the Swedish teams Hotel to psych them out ;)
saw another boy from norway out running.

moved into the Jwoc accomodation today. it is very very nice. Lilian, Sarah and myself are in a room on the third floor, the other girls are a floor down. There are heaps of other orienteers in the hotel as well but we are the only jwoc team. Its a really good spot, 200m away from the event centre and 200m from town.
only bad thing is that my parents will be staying in this hotel as well...sigh

awful... just lame. hahaha map was a bit wrong i think around control 10. alot of us had trouble with it
