Foot sore around the 3km mark I think from the downhill bit. I had to adherent my shoes twice.
I think the halfway point was 10:25

Slowed down to jog from there

All the controls scatter at Glenelg. I made some silly errors and my foot was a little sore on the sand.

Foot is pretty good today but I will have another rest day tomorrow and take it from there.

Little jog and a longer walker in the middle. Easing into the foot. Seemed ok.
Podiatrist said I will need orthotics but this pain is a one off stress pain on my foot.

Much needed. Top of right foot is sore from netball last night. Hamstring hurts and back is tight. On top of that my thumb is still giving me issues.
To the physio

Note

Not actually dying. Physio says I have over pronation which is causing lots of pain on the top of my feet. He taped them up and now it feels great. I am going to the podiatrist tomorrow. My hamstring pain is actually nerve pain relating to my back.
I am going back to the physio on Wednesday.

Cleland Park run! It was so pretty and the view from the look out was great. This trail is pretty much straight down and then straight back up again. 1st female :)

“Epically hard to find controls” Orienteering at Flagstaff Hill. I knew it would be epic before I started as it took manu 2 hours to put controls out so I opted to help him out and collected the controls as I did the course. Almost died twice going down steel edges/ cliffs.

Sooo hot
6x 200m with 50m float, 5x200m with 50 float, 4x200m with 50m float.
This was in partners and I got to run with super Peter and super Maureen (who I learnt has won the city to bay a number of times in the 80’s or 70’s)

I didn’t stop my watch when we stopped so this isn’t quite accurate.

Awesome training at Marino. Manu set a short sprint course where the control wasn’t the centre of the control. And then at the end there was a maze o on the beach!!!

We did the loop up to Moore’s road and back down to third falls. Running down was equally as hard as running up.

Trail race at Kuitpo. Felt pretty good and I think my collapsible cup did the trick at the water stations.
There were a lot of single trails which I am good at running on however, the ten k people joined us at a turn off onto the single trail switch backs. I had to start walking because of all the traffic and I could look up the hill and see about 100people trying to get up these switch backs. Holy moly. This was the trickiest part of the whole race- passing about 50people on a single trail was hard.
Anyway I came 6th and 1st for my age class.
