arrrggg working 10 hours then doing this is painful

also on another note, my orienteering nightmares are back. this one involved aislinn and we were at the oringen sprint champs??? and aislinn had caught me by 1min at a control that i over shot, which were theses massive two boulders, however when i went back to get the contol there was a cave in one of the boulders with a light comming from in. As i got closer to the cave a giant bear appeared and growled at me and i ran away back to the finish to tell everyone about my bear attack...which aislinn didnt see so no one believed me.

orienteering race (aus long distance) 1:14:40 [3] 7.6 km (9:49 / km)

this was really fun, i really enjoyed the running and i especially enjoyed the relocating. no kidding i thought that figuring out where i was in a very short amount of time was heaps uplifting.... is that weird?

oh and i ended up coming 3rd, but i only found that out tonight when i checked the results.

this was fun and is probaly the best run i had all week. nol race mid week ended up coming 5th overall so pretty happy with that.
also very clean

aus middle distances, was doing ok until i 7. just lost it completly cause i got distracted in the creek system by all the other orienteers.

2x 4 400ms easy on corners hard on straights.
felt ok and maybe could have pushed it harder

feeling fine from two sessions of body pump this week so lets see if i can make that regular

again increased my weights this week
i am able to do the clean and jerk press with 10kg now

orienteering 1:12:00 [3]

training at gap creek
this included warm up and non existant warm down.
First i had to put out two controls and meet at the start on the other side of the map. that took a while because i was hesitant with where i put out the streamers but everyone found them ok so i guess they were right.
then we ran the course back to the carpark
was really slow to start but got into at the end and pushed the last 4.
my running speed through the bush has improved slightly

12mins warm up
3km road run with stopping so the people behind me knew which way to go. that was about 15:30 and then 5 sets of hills
each on was 15sec each
then 5min warm down.

legs got very tired early on today so it was a bit of a struggle. ran from my house to gap creek and back with the saturday crew.

too wet and gross and my arse hurts now cause i forgot my knicks.
rode from toowong to uni and then to uni and back
trust me to pick an awful wet day to go cycling

my legs are extreamly sore today from yesterday so i think i should have done a recovery run this morning instead.
this hill is a new one up near moggill road and it looks like a good place to train for hills this summer

then 2 shorter ones in between 22,23

increased my weights today and it reallly really hurt. will be sore tomorrow.
also running home was quite hard
