extreamly tired today. had the foo fighters concert last night (which was totally awesome) and got about 3 hours sleep. Not in the mood for running.
did some hills as well but it was bit of a meh today.

legs were feeling pretty shitty after the weekend so i needed just a short run so they will be good for intervals this arvo.
Also i spent most of this run , running up and down my street picking up rubbish that the rubbish truck had spilt.

couldnt manage the longer version of this today. feeling too weak in the legs. besides i dont know if i'll ever do the longer version again because i really didnt feeli was getting anything out of it and i wasnt looking forward to it as much as the shorter set.

i actually like this map..well enjoy it compared to other brisbane maps.
Had a pretty clean run with some hesitations in the creeks.
running was pretty damm good today even after yesterdays slog.

long run from slaughter falls today. ran up to simpsons falls and then to channel 9. from there to summit and then back down to anzac park via chapel hill. through anzac park then up to botanical gardens to the slaughter falls again.

after we went to the java lounge in paddington and saw andrew stockdale from wolfmother there with is family. i think he's playing at the tivoli tonight or sometime soon.

ran the schools cross country course. i beat my last time i did it in grade 12 but it was still pretty shit. ran with ian. im still pretty tired from wednesday.

firsty had to put out two controls.
the map was contour only and then we had to meet at the start which was on the other end of the map.
we then had to do the course backwards but i had to do the legs by mpa memory.
turns out i put one of my controls in the wrong spot...so i had a good time but i dont think anyone else did

rode there and back from training. was getting kinda dark on the way back and my back light wasnt working...was kinda scary

this was really gay!
i wanted to do a 3km time trail..and thats what i had in mind before i started.
did about 5 laps when i realised my time was like 2mins off either that or a miscounted a lap
so i didnt want to keep running at that speed for a 3k time so i stopped and ran for another few mins hard out. finished the session and thought what the hell is wrong with me..shouldnt i be getting faster. grrr

My grandma and aunt were here in brissy for the day as their cruise boat was docked in the harbour for just the day after a 6 week pacific ocean trip. Also my cousins from adelaide were up for the day as well. did not time for uni work or training and was a little annoyed by that...

took around a min off from my last Pb so it was a well deserved L&P tonight yum!

this was my 700th session of training :)

i finally found my sand hills, after two weeks of searching.
they seem to be doing some renovation work at anzac park so i ran up a 100m hill that was completly covered in soft dirt.
did that 6 times
best was 24 seconds

cyclones run from clares house...except i was so slow this morning i didnt see anyone.
the blisters did slow me down quite a bit but i kept going.
the pace was slow but steady and i felt quite good. right foot is a bit sore on the right side now where i landed funny to avoid hitting my blisters.
all and all a fun run

first ride in ages!! and i can tell that my riding fitness is way down.
anyway rode to get a Mantaux test at the PA
btw the foot still hurts but i can walk on it now so thats all cool and running will be an option tomorrow morning :D

15min warm up..by that point my feet were already hurting.
did the trial in 29.50 so worse then last week
but i reckon i could have done a pb this week if it was for my feet.
the new orthodics were hurting crazily by the 15min mark and i had to stop ( a. to pick up my watch and b. to take my shoe off. that didnt really help because the ground was really rocky. so the last 5mins was a real trek and very slow.
i now have very big blisters on the arch of my feet that are banaged up so i can walk again.

this was my early run for the day, kinda of my recovery run/ warm up to what im gonna do this arvo.
i really didnt feel as if i should have run for longer, my body was feeling pretty limber by the time i ended.
i also ran in my new orthodics and the arnt as painful as before. i'll give it another week before i run in them properly.

gonna try and do 1,2,3,3,2,1,1,2,2,1 tonight for the first time. was suppose to do it last week but i forgot.

it was just one of those days today.. never really got into it and my motivation levels just decreased with every mistake i made.
managed to keep running though unlike other unmotivational times.
ended up have an ok time in the end was still winning by the time i left

i spent alot of time today taking the bush option to practice my bush running
apparently toohey forest has vegetation decenty close to that of sweden.. i might go back there

i had a four hour break at uni today and so i thought i would do a short recovery run while also running in my new orthodics
i got to the 6min mark when my feet couldnt take it any more and so i ran the rest of the way with the orthodics in my hand. i am now wearing them in my shoes around uni to see if that will mould my feet easier without the pain.
