I wish our club was not so good at removing tape after meets. Wearing the new HRM, I now know orienteering is the cardio-activity of choice. My highest rate was on simple but limping trail runs.

I was out of the saddle for 10 or 15 strokes through Greens Creek trail. Too many stop signs to keep my average heart rate in zone. MCL real sore after ride. The sniffles came back this morning.

I've established a pattern. The best way to determine a high-quality workout is by how difficult it is to walk the following day. I'm also dealing with blisters and lots of cuts. What a great adventure.
