Okay run from me not too far behind the pack but unfortunately Joe had a mare and ali was solid as always . Will get the W one day.
Took the win in the mass start which deserved a cheeky celebration.
Was with/in the lead until about 6 where I started to feel sick from my bad saw throat in the morning and I was struggling to keep with the pack.
Just holding on to Jack and Ruben through spectator then took a tumble at ten.
But somehow I could see a couple of Scottish jerseys ahead which gave me hope to push on.
Managed to pass Pete and a couple others on the penultimate control and put Joe in decent position unfortunately not to be tho.

Felt as though I had a good run but apparently so did everyone else.
Spiked all but two controls.
Had nice speed and flow through controls in the first part hitting all almost bang on.
Stood at the road crossing for two mins working routes then executed them well except 20
Was dying on the hills in these bits
Happy tho as I have been almost ill all week
