Ma bottom bracket was clicking whenever I was riding so I spent all of ma warm up trying to fix it and got to the start line with 2 mins to go.
So really unprepared for this and was at the back from the start.
Couldn't move up cos some slow Bs where in front and so I got dropped trying to Chase the As.
In the end just did my own little TT.

Better today 2 errors tho lost about 3:30 mins which would of meant I would off beat stan.
Running seemed better today. But rolled ma ankle while hurdling a fence. Hopefully will be good.

Was goin well responding to attacks but when the first proper attack came in I was looking back so had to scramble to get back on. Didn't make it.
Waited for group behind me and sat in there but with 3 laps to go I cramped as I was attacking and had to really slow down.

Really disappointed with the race today.
First it was a massive disappointment to not win the banter start. Tried to keep with the leaders which I did for the most part. However around 6 or 7 I threw up and that was my race over . Tried to gain back as much time but yesterday and illness had a huge effect on me. Proud of how my team did today tho.

So happy to spike every control for once.
Hadn't quite recovered from illness which meant for a hard race.
Was going good until 7 where I started to feel tired.
Got through that leg resting on the down hills. Followed Laura through the next two to try to recover. But as soon as I got on the fell I hit the wall and walked to 10. Tried to run to some of the next few controls but was really struggling. Descended pretty quick towards the end to make up some time but was still 8 mins off Pete and Matt.
But really happy with the result based on the circumstances.
