Legs felt quite tired for the whole of today so not going to quick on a relatively quick area.
Decided I would try to run through the terrain rather than pick through it like the last few events to get ready for the race season. And that inevitably lead to me absolutely decking it lol. Couple of mistakes along with a void control meant for a scrappy race.


Caught Jake O'Donnell who is 13 and he was absolutely pacing it. Star for future him, heard it here first.

Not quite as brambley as yesterday but still enough to slow u down.
Made a real hash of 5,6,14 and 17 just lack of focus really.
Got caught by Freddie at 17 ran with him for a couple of controls until he hurdled a wall I couldn't get over so had to sprint round to catch back up then he put the nail in the coffin up the last hill but all good experiences.

Feel as though progress has been good so far just another 10 weeks till worlds.

Started off a bit sluggish but was surprised to see Sunley coming out of 1 and then managed to have him at the same distance ahead for whole course. Annoying that if I went 19 seconds quicker I'd get 3rd but only training. Good fun with good navigation.

4th after some fairly dubious handicapping, 35 year old getting a 1.6km course (easier than the yellow). Make of it what u will.
But I ran well with my dad following me but dropped him on way to 8. Nice area and no major mistakes
