Feeling like a bit of a goon after physio cleared me to run. Turns out I'm not injured, just a bit wet - oops.

Attempted to clear my name of low-mileage accusations (but bolster claims of NARPage) with some Churchill laps. Was a bit surprised to find Dom's churchill laps were actually a Josh Carr "raazzz" which is apparently a lot slower than a "raz" but quite fast enough for me - good fun though.

No pain apart from everything that hurt before, but now it doesn't count...

Cycling 50:00 [3]

Pre-S+C with Flo. Bit rubbish on the busway, but got some nice roads to link from there to Coton and got the head down for 20 mins. Definitely feeling this in the legs.

S&C 1:00:00 [3]

Haries S+C. Hurt a lot, and core strength is basically all gone (if I had any before...). Feeling pretty inferior when we had to start picking up things with numbers on them, but no shame in starting small on the road to swoledom. Good session.

Cycling 1:15:00 [3]

Nice ride with Josh incl a good effort coming back into cambridge which might be a new speed record. The boy cycles fast.

Afternoon Fen Ditton - slow

Same pain as yesterday creeping in between 5-8km, at which point it started requiring stretching stops. Still not convinced its anything serious, but IT band has been floated as a scary possibility.

Oops. First DNF'd SLR of the year. Toft, feeling good and keen for the extension, but at almost the furthest point something went wrong on the outside of my whole right leg. Stopped and stretched it out, and continued on to the actual furthest point where it came back but worse. Absolutely fine to walk, impossible to run. Feels muscular, could even just be an awkwardly pulled muscle, but there was no way I was running back to Cambridge in that state.

Followed up by 3xwalk[hitchhike]. Heart rate possibly higher in the rests, especially when one of my lifts started driving very definitely away from Cambridge. Glad I wasn't kidnapped in the end, I've got deadlines.
