Note

Was gonna be tough to fit one in anyway, so probably better to take the hit and try to drop this cold

5 PM

Running (out of date) 45:23 [3] 10.5 km (4:19 / km) +10m 4:18 / km
shoes: Asics GT 1000 6 (heavies)

Missed the start so cycled a bit to catch up. Easy 10k baitsbite with a razzy final 2.5. Various bits and pieces reminding me that I need a rest day tomorrow

Wednesday Grantchester steady. Another ridiculous turnout, but lots turned off early for circuits which left me with a group taking a much easier pace. Probably no bad thing with legs keen to remind me of yesterday's session

WUP

Running (out of date) intervals 45:33 [5] 11.7 km (3:54 / km) +60m 3:48 / km

Big session
10'[2']
2x(2'[1']2'[45'']2'[30'']2'[1'])[1']
10'

Almost broke my track 3k PB (which is admittedly very slow) on the first 10' of grass laps trying to stick with Rob and Dom, so it was always going to hurt after that. Ground out 6 of the 2's at a decent pace but the last two were too much. Final 10' wasn't bad, thought I had Rob after 2k but couldn't hold it and he ended up a decent way in front.
6 PM

Running (out of date) warm up/down 7:43 [1] 1.5 km (5:09 / km) +10m 4:59 / km

Hurting, but got the CD done. Will need at least one more one-session week before I can think about doing Saturdays too, but generally feeling in pretty good shape.

shoes: Asics GT 1000 6 (heavies)

Huge group for a midweek steady, and an even bigger EZ runner presence, not sure what we did to get this sort of turnout but it seems like a good thing.

Did bring the pace down a bit though, not the speediest cabbage patch.

Running (out of date) long 1:40:00 [3] 23.0 km (4:21 / km) +30m 4:19 / km
shoes: Asics GT 1000 6 (heavies)

Waterbeach, initially with the front group, but they dropped some 3:20s down the towpath so sat off that with Hamilton and Phoebe at 4:00s, which is probably still to fast for SLR.

No garmin data betweoen the house and SJP so a bit of guesswork.

Overall feeling strong and enjoying SLR a lot more now I know to have proper breakfast first.
