Planned to do parkrun but not in a fit state this morning after being up all night with some mental allergic reaction - was pretty intense. Bailed out to the braids instead and feeling decent.

Nasty run around the meadows (2 laps and a shorter fast loop) with the new shoes in rain and pain.

Slight dodgyness in left foot but not sure i can be bothered with another toe fracture so just gonna ignore it for now.

Ran into town to buy some new trainers, feeling very fresh on the way down but new lightweight purchase was definitely too heavy to maintain the pace on the way home... Edinburgh grim during festival - rookie error.

Fun sprINTelope around Buckstone. Took a while to adapt to tapes instead of flags and lost a few seconds here and there. Ended up 4th, just 2s behind Craig. Good to get a break from straight running.

Standard run around on the braids but faster than yesterday with freddie, so who was really the one struggling...
