The workout was a 3 by 5 minute with around about 5-minute recovery. It didn't feel great physically but it was really nice to get back to running fast. It was definitely tough getting started and overcoming mental inertia so the first one was the hardest and they got easier as we went. The speed was slower and the breaks longer than I was hoping for but the combination of awful conditions (28 degrees F or -1 C, wind and ice) and lack of workouts made the paces not that bad.
