This didn't go quite how I wanted it to but it's okay. The two weeks leading up to it were not the best prep, seeing as I took a week off to hike and then was just running low miles day the other week. So that probably hurt my time. But I think the bigger thing that slowed me down was lack of people. I have never been able to really race well alone and I think thats what really happened here. I think I could easily break 30 if I had people to pace off of maybe even a bit faster but not sure. Anyways I may try this again in another couple days with some friends to see if I can get faster now that I know the distance and have some competition.
