Carlisle 10k - 37:31
Really pleased with the time.

Felt proper relaxed all the way through 5km - went through in 19:15 which was fair seeing as my pb is 18:50.
Pushed on from here, making 3:38 up the k long hill which felt hard - but not painful which was a nice surprise (i struggle to run 3:30s on the rack for 3km).

Ran with this guy from 5km until the end - took him on the sprint which felt even better. Did a massive 5k pb in the second half of the 10. 18:13

Just felt good - feel in soild shape right now - just need to get some more terrain stuff in.

Pretty tragic result.
Dunno, just need more practice on technical terrain at night.

DOMS already pretty big from yesterdays hills so cut out the squats ect.

Did extended stretching + 30 mins of ankle stuff and some upper body.

Long run with the wastemen [Dan and Ali.T will be referred to as "the wastemen from now on"]
(we all know i'm the real wasteman tho)
Took a decent bit more climb which was good.
Last climb up Blake was proper sketchy - weather came in - horizontal sleet and high wind. Didn't have a coat so cut out going to the top and contoured back to the trees.
Freezing, but soon warmed up and the rest was nice.

Pool was crowded.
Loads of self entitled new years 'resolutioners' kept having a go at me for swimming too close when there was like 12 people in the space for 5.

Whatever, got my head down and got it done. 60 lengths.

Track with Dan, both didnt feel great so cut it to 4 x 600 + 200

Did: 2:00, 1:58, 1:56, 1:58 for the 600s

(Including warm-up/down)

Chill recovery run with the WCOC lads. Was nice.
