5km run - 40km ride - 10km run
Nice event, really enjoyed it but probably pushed slightly too hard as didn't feel good at end. Stiff headwind on the outward bike leg, but nice fast run back to the beach. Lots of laps of both run and cycle course to make the distance which would normally bore me, but nice day and I didn't seem to mind.

Waimak Gorge. Mt White Bridge to Woodstock. Topsport guided trip, paddling a Beachcomber.

Really nice day, beautiful weather and scenery. Plenty of practice at bluff turns and safe lines. Not sure how I'm going to remember all the landmarks! Long day, tired and then flew home. Back to work work tomorrow.
