Test running the new permenant course at Rotoiti. 1hr6min to clear it with a couple of short cuts through the bush. Lindsay tells me I need to do it again now with no short cuts...

Concentrated on keeping the speed up throughout and loking frequently at the map, staying in good contact.

Ran 6km up toward Lakehead then back again to turn the day into a decent run. Had intended to do long slow but I think my pace was all over the place in the end. Still, good run.

Richmond night rogaine. Pretty poor performance really, a couple of poorly planned loops and some bonus points available that I didn't see on the score sheet till the end. Then managed two errors near the end that saw me back a couple of minutes late.

Commercial rafting trip with Jen down the upper Buller Gorge from Murchison to the Swingbridge. First time I'd been on that river, really nice.
