Buena Vista, red course, 7.3 km straight line. Almost didn't do this race, and skipped the night-o the day before for the same reason: I didn't want to sprain my ankle again. Fortunately all went well. Biggest issue was #1 when I followed the re-enterant too far down as a big rock, according to the map, was removed since the map was made. After that, no real problems except for going a bit off to one side or another at various times.

To test out the new bike rack, took the X-bike over to the PLC. Did out-back on 95th both directions, a lap at the PLC and at Redbarn. Light rain the whole time. Arms still sore from weights, so probably need to do that stuff more.

Running club. The weather was about perfect, about 70F, scattered sprinkles. I felt ok, my legs were tight and my Achilles were not perfect from the long run on Sunday, but the pace was really good. I never expected with so much time since the last real runs and intervals that I could run this fast and not be strained too much. Workout was relays, 3x1000 first set, 2x1000 second set. Teams were 4th, then 1st. That guy Arturo was definitely way better than anyone, but I think I was solidly second fastest, which I've been noticing that my dominance at running club is certainly not was it used to be. Times were 3:41, 35, 36, 32, 29. Paces were 5:47, 37, 39, 36, 31. Hit a new legitimate max HR since moving to CO, which I think today was due to being slightly out of shape with conditions that allowed fast running.
