O at Bear Creek Lake. Red course, 7.4 km straight-line. Had a good run. Fitness seems particularly good for this time of year. #1 and #2 were tricky and I felt a bit rusty, no problems after that, but I took the trail from 14 to 15, and after I made the decision, I think the road was a better choice. Can't complain about any win though and it was super fun. However, the map could stand to get a few more updates.

Running club. 5x4:40 handicapped. Start last and finished 1st on the first and the last intervals. Real times were 4:48, 44, 45?, 40, 31. Ran well, but was very tired in the afternoon and for the workout.

Did an out and back on 14th and the Poudre trail, turned around at the dog park. Nasty headwind on the way back but managed to only be a few minutes slower on the return.

Tried to run to the tree from Coyote ridge, didn't quite make it, turned around at 50min, need an hour from that direction to get to the tree. Average HR seemed high. Right Achilles has been feeling the running a bit, I think I can avoid any serious problems, like the ones last year, if I just keep two days between each running workout, and if I make sure I do a good warmup before any intervals.
